D&D SHUT IT® BadAss Strap Weld-On Hinge Set

One of D&D SHUT IT® Gate Hardwares newest gate hinges, the D&D SHUT IT® BadAss Strap Hinge, is a barrel hinge that includes either an152mm or 254mm strap for convenient and flexible gate installations. The strap hinge is also one of the D&D SHUT IT® strongest gate hinges with more bearing load than any hinge on the market. By combining different lengths top and bottom it is the ideal solution for opening gate on an uphill gradient.

Unique Stover Locknut™
an innovative, shaped threads provide a vibration-resistant friction fit so nut stays firm. The top thread section is deformed to create two or three locking zones (can be re-used 2-3 times). The all-metal locknuts withstand higher temperatures than nylon-insert locknuts.

High Temperature Sealed Bearings
Safe to powder-coat with hinges installed on the gate (excluding CI3850 self-closing hinge and CI3800 Stainless Steel BadAss). No greasing, no maintenance; hinge options include 1, 2, 3 or 4 bearings and performs better than roller cages that require periodic greasing.
